Looking back, Van Peeples' Posse Mario is a kind of Lee's Miracle at St. Anna Cancel. In other words, here the film was finally you were in default - a traditional Hollywood genre film based on a period bodily event, which was a similar response to all those Hollywood films that do not where that blacks had been heavily involved in some historical event.
In St. Anna, it was the Second World War, and with Posse was the 19th century American West
And ultimately, when you got the movie ... They blew IT!
Well O.K ... hold on. I am too harsh. Posse is not so bad. I must leave it in I find it really fun. I remember going twice screenings. I was nothing but really desperate for a black West, despite the fact that I would not call at any point Posse historically accurate.
