Roger Joseph Williams was sentenced on Thursday to six years and nine months in jug for seven charges involving child pornography and sexually moving two boys.

Williams, 51, pleaded guilty in November to two counts of producing woman pornography, one count of distributing and one count of possession.

He also pleaded sorrowful to touching a person under the age of 14 for a sexual purpose, touching a himself under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose, and inviting a person under the age of 16 to bring up him for a sexual purpose.

Williams was arrested on Oct. 13, after police searched a cat-house free just outside Moncton, seizing several computers and digital storage devices such as tough drives.

Crown prosecutor Karen Lee Lamrock said patrol found thousands of images — many of them extremely graphic — and 234 video clips.

The children in the images ranged from infants to teenagers, policemen said.

Some of the images were taken in Williams' home, the court heard.
